The first batch I bought were chewy and one of my elderly dogs could eat the whole thing, the second batch were too hard for him to eat them, he tries to eat the meat end but it is very hard, I can’t even break it off myself to give to him. My other dog who has a large mouth can gulp on them once he has eaten some of it, and they are a choking hazard for him, plus I worry about how hard they are when he gulps down a large piece of tendon. Such a great product sadly not suitable for my dogs. Back to raw meaty bones unfortunately with the gross raw meat, bacteria, smell and dirty paws and legs to clean after each time. Lucky me!

I have bought tendons from more places than I care to count. Some are just too big with too much ‘meat’ attached and some seem overcooked and much too brittle. These are just right for my dogs who really enjoyed them and the price was reasonable.

I have been ordering the Roo products for our small dog for a while now. I tried many different brands but the Loyalty Pet ones are the best, they don’t smell too much compared to other brands we had to throw away! Our dog loves them. The deliveries are always very quick even from Queensland to Sydney and even during the Covid 19 issues.
