Our Green Lipped Mussels are amazing, the positive feedback on how wonderful our product is, is a true testament to our exclusive Nutrieseal™ process. Our Nutrieseal® process enhances this power treat from the oceans & gives you a tasty & beneficial treat for your fur babies.
The world’s oceans hold many amazing creatures with some amazing & intriguing qualities. The health benefits that we can derive from our oceans are incredible. Green lipped mussel is certainly one of these. The most common benefit of consuming green lipped mussels is the high concentration of omega-3 fatty acids. According to the Centre for Genetics, Nutrition and Health, the consumption of omega-3 fatty acids is beneficial in the treatment of inflammatory diseases and autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis. In addition, a study performed by the University of Helsinki in Finland revealed the components of green lipped mussels was an effective treatment for chronic pain associated with osteoarthritis in dogs.
Feeding instructions: Our mussels are dried under our exclusive Nutrieseal® process, the properties of our mussels are not destroyed in anyway.
Dogs: This is a guideline only, for the first two weeks we suggest feed approximately 2 to 3 mussels per day, dogs over 40kg we suggest feed approximately 3 to 5 mussels per day to get the benefits of the mussles into their system. Maintenance: feed every second day, small dogs one mussel, medium dogs 2 mussels and large dogs 2- 4. You will be the best judge whether to increase or decrease.
Cats: Love our mussels as well depending on the weight/size of your cat if you cat likes to crunch 1 to 3 mussels a day to start. For maintenance feed every 2nd day, once again you will be the best judge on whether to increase or decrease.
