Our tripe powder is tripe that is unbleached & untreated but has been lightly rinsed with hot water to deal with the nasty bacteria that our government authorities say can make you & your pet sick.
Protein
Our tripe is full of lots of protein 78.6% (LPT analysis). It is said that tripe is a natural probiotic that contains digestive enzymes. Natural enzymes can aid the digestive process by facilitating the breakdown of food into nutrients. The more digestive enzymes available, the more vitamins, minerals, and usable energy your pet will be able to receive from food.
It is said Tripe Powder Topper is full of natural vitamins and minerals, selenium, calcium, phosphorus, zinc and healthy fats.
Selenium
It is an excellent source of Selenium. Selenium is an essential mineral that acts as an antioxidant to limit cell damage from harmful compounds called free radicals. It may help with immune function, thyroid function and the creation of DNA.
Vitamins
It is high in Vitamin B-12. Vitamin B-12, which is only naturally found in significant amounts in animal products, is important for forming DNA and red blood cells to carry oxygen throughout the body

Suggested feeding amount
Just sprinkle Tripe Powder over their food
- Small dog (between 1kg and 10kg) daily ½ to 1 teaspoon
- Medium dog (between 11kg and 26kg) daily 1 to 2 teaspoons
- Large dog (between 26kg and 44kg) daily 2 to 4 teaspoons
- Giant dog (45kg or more) 3 to 5 teaspoons
- Cats ½ to 1 teaspoon

Thanks for sending the Tripe Meal Topper sample pack with my last order.
I had heard about the benefits of tripe some time ago, but completely forgotten. Receiving the topper sample was very timely, as Yogi, my 10 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, has developed some digestive issues with age.
